Introduction about Kerala

Kerala is a state of india located in its southwest. It is established in 1 November 1956. Kerala is surrounded by Karnataka(state of India) to the north , tamil nadu(state of India) to the South and East and Arabian sea to the west. Thiruvananthapuram also called as Trivandrum is the capital of Kerala. Cochin, Kannur, Thrissur and Kollam are the other main cities. Kerala's principal spoken language is Malayalam.



Kerala is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. The National Geographic Traveler has named Kerala as one of the ten paradises of the world. Kerala has its own unique culture and traditions. This coupled with its varied demography makes Kerala one of the most famous tourist places in the world. The states economy is also hence greatly dependent on the tourism industry.
